All foreign citizens planning to visit the Russian Federation need to have a passport and visa, which has to be obtained beforehand in a Russian Consulate. The procedure of issuance of visa takes a rather long time so one has to start collection of required documents in advance. First of all you should decide what type of visa you need. Depending on the purpose of the visit and duration of stay on the territory of the Russian Federation visas are divided into different types. Our company provides the services for getting an invitation for tourist visa and business visa.

To obtain any of the above types of visa, one should present a package of documents to a Russian Consulate, including an invitation containing a special reference number. To get an invitation one should fill in an application form. APPLICATION FORM IS TO BE SENT NO LATER THAN 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL

On receipt of invitation one should contact the Russian Consulate to get the detailed information about the required documents, payment of consular fees, filling in the consular forms and other terms of getting the visa. After obtaining the visa – permit for entry and staying on the Russian territory for a certain period of time – please make sure that your visa is issued correctly.

In some cases it is allowable to send a scanned invitation by e-mail. Please check whether your personal data are correct, as well as the presence of seal and signature.
