Thanks to the superb location of the Nevsky Hotel Breeze in the very heart of St.Petersburg, hotel guests have a wonderful opportunity to see and, should they be interested to do so, even visit one of the first Soviet submarines.
Submarine “Narodovolets” was built at the Baltic Shipyard in 1927-1931. During WWII she participated in Baltic operations and up to 1975 was part of the Baltic Fleet.
Displayed on board the submarine are original tools and weapons, means of communication and details of the on-board everyday life. Audio effects simulate the sound of working diesel engines, acoustic signals and orders to start a torpedo attack. Wartime newsreels are showing.
For more information on how to get to the submarine please contact Nevsky Hotel Breeze reception at (+7-812) 570-11-88.
